Shaded & Jaded

Zane: I just look ahead. After a while, we arrive back at the mansion.

Dallas smiles.
A nurse walks in. Visiting hours are over.
Keynai nods. I'll see you again.
Dallas Alright.
Keynai walks out the dor as the nurse walks in.

Katie: I wave goodbye to Dallas as I follow Keynai out.

Katie: I follow after Keynai. I was happy that everything had gone well with him and Dallas.

Keynai I'm surprised he's healed.

Well I had a lot of fun today Zane! We should do something like that again sometime

Zane: I smile. I had fun, too. There will absolutely be more things like this in the near future.

Peyton: There isn't anything that I feel interested in doing, so I am just sitting on the couch in the common room.

Alianna: I am reading a book in the kitchen. I set the book on the counter and pour a glass of water.

Katie: I'm really glad he has. Maybe now you can have a better relationship with your father.

Abbie: *nods and smiles softly* wanna grab a snack? And try to see if I can face my fear of water?

Zane: Sure. I head to the kitchen. What would you like?


Alianna: I take a sip of my water and return to the book. After a few minutes, I finish the book. I take another sip of water and go to the library to return the book.


Katie: I look to the ground as we walk.

Abbie: how about.......fruit?

Katie: I look over and see a guy looking at me. I go back to watching what is in front of me. 
Alianna: I didn't notice William as I placed the book on the shelf.
Zane: I present her with the bowl of fruit on the counter. Take your pick. There are grapes in the fridge.

Abbie: why thank you *takes an apple from the bowl*

Zane: No problem. I put the bowl back where it was. I take some grapes from the fridge.

William wakes and stretches. He looks at Alianna but quickly looks away.

Keynai looks at her. Are you okay?

Katie: I don't look to him as I respond. I'm fine. That response was pretty much automatic for me. 


Alianna: I hear someone stir and look over. Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you. 

William shrugs. Well I would've woken up anyways. He had a hint of sarcasm in his voice then.

Keynai Is it him? Motions his head toward the guy.

Abbie: *rinses the apple off and then eats part* want some?

Cole: I eat some of the grapes. I'm good. You want any grapes?

Katie: I nod slightly. 

Alianna: I ignore his sarcasm. So, what were you reading?

William Mmmm... He looks at the book. I really have no idea. There's no title on the cover.

Alianna: Oh. Well, are you enjoying it?

Keynai Is it cause he's staring or do you know him?

William I love all books. Of course I'm enjoying it.

Katie: His name is Blake. We have had a fair amount of bad encounters.


Alianna: That's good. I smile a little and go back to looking through the books.
