Bone chuckles. A few of us have quite a past. Mine is the darkest of them all because of my actions, but I have proved myself and now stand here in this pack as the Beta. I've come far and have earned my place. You're honest enough to admit you have a dark past, which is a big step. Not many are willing to admit that because of the fact they think they won't be accepted into the pack. Few tell of their past. I am not one of those few, but I did tell Lyanori and his father only because I slipped. Since his father is now dead, Lyanori is the only one that knows of my past and he trusts me enough to keep me as Beta. If you have changed since then, you still have a chance here.

River: in that case I will stay here. She sits down

River: looks around, making detailed notes of things around.her

After the rain passes.

Lyanori I want three of my Deltas to go hunt. Hopefully there's prey still around. Everyone else will return to the valley with me so we can try and fix this... Be cautious. I dn't want anyone to sink into any mud.

River: follows

Bone The Deltas will search for the dens while the rest of us try to get this all... Cleaned up.

River; what must I do to help?

Bone Make sure no wolves are stuck under the mud. Last time we found a bunch of loners that were just passing through.

River: nods

River: her mouth waters at the sight of food, but she waits patiently to be told when she can eat

Lyanori I wonder if the others have found the dens.

Bone looks at River. Are you going to eat? We let the skinniest eat first.

River: nods, thank you, she walks and eats a small amount and then walks back

Bone Surely you are more hungry than that.

River: no that is more than I am used to

Bone What was your rank in your previous pack?

River: tenses....I told you I do not share my past....it is to....painful....

Bone I was Omega in my first pack. Trust me, it won't effect your rank and it would explain why you don't eat much.

Lyanori hears a whine. You guys hear that?
