River: nods and jumps into the tree

Bone Now jump from tree to tree. Quick as you can.

River: looks at the trees a second picks a good path and jumps from branch to branch swiftly and quietly

Bone nods. Very good. He spins as a wolf tries to attack him. Bone takes it by the neck and throws it into the ground. He jumps down, gently landing as if he had wings. Bone looks at the wolf. Stupid wolf.

River: runs back and jumps down so quietly bone hadn't heard her, almost like a ghost, you okay?

Bone I'm fine. It didn't get the chance to even touch me.

River: oh okay

River: it came out of nowhere...

Bone The Phantom Wolves are trying to take out the Alpha and Beta. Smart but stupid.

River: nods,,,,anything else that I need to do I don't wanna just stand around

Bone pins her. You need to know how to fight.

River: kicks him off of her and jumps up and spins around

Bone There's better things you could've done.

River: I could have clawed at your belly or reached up and bitten your neck, taken your leg in my jaws and crushed it and many more things I just don't want to hurt you

Bone It wouldn't have worked on me anyways.

River: what do you mean?

Bone I have a voice in my head that seems to tell me what's going to happen well before anything does. And it's never failed me. This is, I suppose, my gift from the spirit that touched me at birth. He looks at the wolf.

A feather hung at the wolf's neck from a string going around it's neck.

Bone growls. He was never a true one. He rips the feather off and throws it aside.

A feather was behind Bone's neck, connected to the chain around his neck. The feather was white, almost impossible to see against his white fur.

River: what is that for? She says looking at the feather

Bone A wolf wouldn't have wings to fly in the spirit world unless they found an animal to lend them their wings to fly. But the animal must choose you. It could happen to you any time in your life. Only a pup with the blood of a Cater Van wolf in them can be chosen, though. I didn't think I had any of their blood in me until I was being attacked by a bird. He chuckles. It put up quite a fight.

River: smiles, that is really interesting

Bone The bird that chose me... She was an Albino eagle.

River: wow that is amazing

Bone nods. So as long as her feather remains with me, I'll have her wings for flight in the spirit world.

River: nods and looks at the feather
