A Lonely Trail- Neko Mansion

Jacob: how can you even talk about something like that when she's in a coma..........even if its true
Chad: *steps between the two* I'm gonna have to ask you to leave matt

Matt: Why should I leave? I looked defiantly at Chad.

Chad: *growls under his breath* because *slips his gun out of his pocket and shoves the barrel against matts chest** I have a firearm that I'm liscenced to use at any time.....now....leave

Matt: Fine, I will leave. A little tip: don't try to pull that on Mr. Cipriano. I turn and walk away.

Chad: *growls a bit* the nerve of some people

Matt: I passed a tall man dressed rather formally as I walked. She's right that way.

The man: I nod as I walk. I stop to first see Cleo and Niki then continue on to Emma's room.

Jacob: *wipes away tears on his face*
Chad: hey she will be okay son

Cleo: I looked at the man as he walked toward me. His face looked familiar though I was positive that I had never met him. For some reason I just knew I had to run from him. And so I did, narrowly avoiding his grasp. I went to Mom's room and hid beside Jacob.

Jacob: cleo what is wrong?

Cleo: There was a strange man. I looked up as I heard someone being shoved against a wall, having the breath knocked out of them.

Chad: closes the door and locks it*

Cleo: The commotion in the hall stopped and I went on. It was odd. I felt like I knew the guy, but I am certain I have never met him. I looked over at my mother, her still, pale appearance made me worry.

Jacob: *looks at cleo* I'm worried about her as well

Cleo: ^Do you think Mom will wake up?^

Jacob: I.......am really.....not sure.....I hope so.....but things aren't looking to good

Cleo: I silently nod and look down.

Jacob: do you want to hold her other hand?

Cleo: I nod. ^Yeah.^ I move to Mom's other side and gently take her hand. It felt cold to against my warm hands. Hiding my face I whispered, ^I'm so sorry. This is my fault.^

Jacob: no it isn't cleo

Cleo: If I hadn't run off she would be okay right now.

Jacob: thats not true

Cleo: I was quiet after that. I just hid my face. My mother had come back after we thought she was dead and I had been awful to her. What if those were the last words we exchanged? How could I forgive myself for being so harsh to her? Jev had been right. I am just like my father.

Jacob: now isnt the time to blame yourself...she wouldnt want you too

Cleo: I nod as I compose myself. You're right... She wouldn't.

Jacob: need a hug?
