A Lonely Trail- Neko Mansion

Cleo: I quietly nod.

Jacob: *motions you towards me* come over here then

Cleo: I walk over to Jacob.

Jacob: *hugs her* no matter what happens we can get through this ok

Cleo: I nod as I hug him back.

Jacob: *forces a smile*

Cleo: I forced a small smile as well, making it look real. The smile was really more for Jacob's benefit than my own.

Jacob: *hugs her once more and then looks over to Emma, still holding her hand*

Cleo: I look to the door as I here the lock click. The door swings open and the man from before walks in.

The man: I held a ring of keys in my hand. I looked over the people in the room to only recognize my daughter. She hadn't changed too much, though her current unconscious state seemed to drown out the rebellion that had once dominated her features. The girl beside her had a resemblance to a Emma and her little friend, I think his name was Zane. Could that be my granddaughter? Who are you people?

Nikki: I snatched my keys back from him. They are her family.

Chad: I must ask you the same question Mr. *pauses and waits for an answer*

The man: Cipriano. Emma is my daughter.

Jacob: *thinks oh no please tell me your not anything your wife but says* ah Mr. Cipriano, nice to meet you
Chad: I'm Chad, this is my son Jacob......he is married to your daughter, and this is cleo, your granddaughter *motions towards each person as he says their name

Mr. Cipriano: Nice to meet you all. I looked to Jacob. So, how long have you been married?

Jacob: fifteen years

That's fine.

Mr. Cipriano: Oh wow.

Jacob: *smiles* yeah its been a while

Mr. Cipriano: I simply nod. How did you two meet?

Jacob: *laughs a bit* I was trying to calm her down and she kinda panicked and shot my little sister

Mr. Cipriano: That's quite a strange way to meet your spouse. Though I cannot really imagine Emma ever hurting anyone. I smile a little. Jev always protected her.

Jacob: yes I admit it is strange, I'm not sure where Jeb was at the time

Mr. Cipriano: I guess they had grown up and went their separate ways by then.

Jacob: yeah at the moment he is watching the kids

Mr. Cipriano: Oh, you two have more children besides Cleo?

Jacob: *nods* yes, a girl named Peyton and a boy named James

Mr. Cipriano: Would it be possible for me to meet them some time?

Cleo: I speak up after remaining quiet. Absolutely not.

Mr. Cipriano: And why not? There was a twinge of annoyance in my voice.

Cleo: You have shown no interest in my mother's life for the past 15 years. Before that, you and your little wife were determined to at very least harm her. Mom hates you. Jev hates you, too. And me? I don't know you well enough to hate you, but I surely am not a big fan. I can tell that you are trying to sneak into our lives and ruin a family that is very much on its edge. If no one else will say it I will. Leave. I glare at him. You will not hurt my siblings.
