Abbie: nothing really, just life

Once they're at the hospital...
Keynai walks up to the desk. I'd like to soo Dallas Price.
A lady looks up at him and points down the hall. At the end on the right.
Keynai nods and walks down the hall.

Katie: I follow Keynai down the hall.

Zane: Well, life is something.

Keynai slowly opens the door.
Dallas opens his eyes and looks at Keynai. When he realizes who it is, he starts crying. Oh my god... Keynai...
Keynai walks over and takes his hand. Did you really come looking for me?
Dallas points to the windowsill where a crumpled ball lay. Flatten it out.
Keynai walks over and uncrumples the ball. Across the top of the page was "MISSING" with a very detailed description below it. Below that was the picture of a boy with long jet black hair. I never saw the papers... I never knew.
Dallas I wasn't all upstairs then, but I never would have brought you to put you in danger. You were safer on the streets... You know we never gave up but when your mother died... I'd lost all hope that you were still alive.

Abbie: I suppose

Katie: I stay back close to the door. I watch, happy to see them reunite. It gave me a bit of hope that there could be better times ahead. It's terrible that Keynai's mother died, though. Dallas must have felt so alone...

Zane: I nod.

Abbie: sooooooo.......i guess your regtretting your stuck here with me....That girl was pretty cute

Zane: I laugh a little. Is that what you are thinking about? I am right where I want to be. I have no desire to chase after every cute girl that passes.

Dallas notices Katie and looks at her. Is this your girlfriend?
Keynai's face turns red but he keeps his voice calm. No.
Dallas raises an eyebrow. A friend?
Keynai nods.
Dallas looks at Keynai. I'm glad you've come to talk to other people.
Keynai sighs. Just you and her... And another friend... William. He found out about everything. Mom's suicide, her note, the robbery... I'd hoped you'd really healed... I'm so glad to see you have.
Dallas smiles. Thank you for forgiving me... I just can't believe you have...
Keynai I knew you weren't really alright in the head.
Dallas So... Did you grow up on the streets?
Keynai I met William when I turned 13. His family took me in. They were abusive but not as much as you had been... But... Will and I had eachother to lean on. He's like a brother to me. I also helped him in school. I was stronger than him; he was bullied and couldn't take it. Once I found him cutting his wrists and arms. I took the knife from him and... solved the problem the next day... No one dared hurt him after that. Will eventually became stronger but now he still seems to be suffering from the aftereffects from the bullying. It's like he thinks he deserves the pain. He always tries to push people away from him. Will is so mean to everyone but me and I just wish he'd believe me when I tell him he doesn't deserve anything like what he's doing to himself... I just hope he can find someone that can see through him; someone that will try to heal him as I have but one that'll be successful.
Dallas I'd like to meet him sometime. He seems like such a wonderful kid.
Keynai nods. He really is. Under his act... He's the perfect guy for any woman. Kind, understanding, and loving. He deserves better than what he's putting on.

Abbie: *nods* well okay then *smiles a bit*

Zane: I am having fun hanging out with you. I smile.

Katie: Dallas asking if I was Keynai's girlfriend made me blush, but, luckily, the blush quickly fades. Keynai and William's past was rather sad. I guess I can understand them a bit more now, though. He does deserve better. Nobody should ever feel like they deserve pain.

Keynai sighs. He thinks he does.

Katie: I sigh lightly.

Abbie: same here *smiles* its been a pretty good day

Zane: Yeah, it has been. I smile. The ride is soon over and I get off, making sure Abbie does as well.

Dallas I'm glad you weren't alone all of those years. He looks at the ring around Keynai's neck. You kept it. I thought you'd gotten rid of it...
Keynai I never hated you; you're my father.

Abbie: *stays close to you* sorry if I'm being a bit clingy I just don't want anything else to happen

Katie: I guessed the ring was a family ring. Keynai's words make me think of how Cole told me that he absolutely hated his father. I personally had favored my father. My mother dismissed me most of the time in favor of my sister, but Father had shown more kindness. He tried to make up for her ignoring me.

Zane: I won't let anything happen to you. I'm sorry about those guys; I should have been watching out for you better.

Abbiits fine......ishould have payed more attention to my surroundings ^_^'

Zane: I walk with her in silence for a moment. You wouldn't have thought someone would come after you like that.

Abbie: I guess your right but.....why did they go after a crazy blue haired chick like me?

Zane: I spoke without a second thought. Because you are beautiful.

Abbie: thanks *blushes a tinnnnyyyyy bit*

Zane: I notice the faint blush and smile ever so slightly. You're welcome.

Abbie: *bites my lip to avoid blushing more*
