Zane: It was no problem. I don't want you to be afraid.

Abbie: *smiles* so what next?

Zane: I think for a second. How about the bumper cars?

Katie: I let my arm rest at my side. Are you okay? I'm here if you want to talk, and if not that's fine, too.

Keynai clears his throat. I'm fine...

Katie: I nod. Okay.

Keynai is silent a few moments before saying, I've never... done that before... His voice was only a whisper.

Katie: It's fine. Everyone cries sometimes. My voice was gentle.

Keynai shakes his head. Never in the past... so why now?

Abbie: oh yes! Sounds fun ^_^

Katie: I can't tell you. Only you know how you really feel about things.

Zane: I smile and lead Abbie to the bumper cars.

Abbie: *trots along beside you*

Zane: The line was short so we were able to get on quickly. I chose a green bumper car.

Katie: I look up to the sky and watch the clouds. A faint smile formed as I watched the blue sky.

Abbie: *chooses a red casually avoiding the yellows*

Katie: My mother once told me that emotions can be thought of as being similar to clouds. Events are like the vapor rising to the clouds, they add to the pressure. After a while, everything builds up so much that you have to let go of the pressure. The rain is the clouds' way to built up water, and sometimes our way to ease the built up emotions is to cry. I look to Keynai after a moment. What everyone can handle is different. Some people may only cry once or twice in their lifetime but others will at the drop of a hat. When people let go of their guard is when the pent up feelings of sadness make their presence known.

Zane: Once everyone is safely in the bumper cars, the ride begins. I turn my little car around and go against most of the traffic.

Keynai I don't want my presence to be known.
William runs in and slips on the water on the floor, nearly falling in. He swears under his breath. He adjusts a laptop bag so that it hangs at his side.
Keynai quickly turns around and looks at William, his back to Katie.
William Key, I found something on your father.
Keynai crosses his arms across his chest.
William pulls a laptop out of the bag and opens it, facing it to Keynai. "... hostages injured in the robbery, including former soldier Dallas Laton Price..."
Keynai stares at the laptop screen, which showed a picture of his father. It was easy to see they were related; Keynai only looked like a younger version.
William I looked up your mother too... They didn't leave you on purpose; someone was after your father and he had them leave immediately. Your father didn't want to leave you, but he claimed you'd have been better off. The person after him hadn't known he had a son, even being as old as you were when you left. Once they came back and couldn't find you all of those years, your mother broke down and couldn't handle it without you... It was all written on a note and farther down the page are the words your father said when he thought he was going to die... "I hope Keynai will forgive me for all I'd done to him. If I don't live through this, let him know that I hadn't been right back then... He knows that but I'm better now and I wish I could've been a real father before he left."
Keynai was clearly battling the emotions inside him. Go away...
William wasn't hurt like most would've been. He knew Keynai just didn't want him here so he could calm down. He walks away but before going through the door says, He's at Mount Carmel hospital about a half hour from here.
Keynai is completely silent and still.

Katie: I was quiet as I looked at Keynai. This should be good new, right? But what if this ultimately just hurt him more? I remained silent, letting Keynai think.

Abbie: *strategically moves forward and knocks a few people into a tailspin laughing*

Keynai But they never came to look for me...

Zane: I look over at Abbie and smile. While I was distracted, a rather pretty girl bumps into me. She smiles and blows me a kiss as she moves away.

Katie: William said that they just couldn't find you.

Keynai You'd think they'd put up "Missing child" papers.
